At our Shannon site, we’re proud to offer a dedicated Centre for Wellbeing, a space designed to support the health, happiness, and overall wellbeing of our colleagues.
The centre includes a driving simulator for global team challenges, a foosball table, PlayStation, coffee dock, and relaxed seating - ideal for taking a break or connecting with others.
Recently, we hosted a Pilates course at the Centre, offering a great way to support both physical and mental health. We're excited to build on this and are planning more wellbeing events and sessions in the future. Stay tuned for updates and opportunities to take part!
The Centre is open 24/7, and is located on the Ground Floor South.
Adjacent to the Centre for Wellbeing, our Quiet Room offers a peaceful space for rest and reflection, available to colleagues 24/7. It features comfortable seating, noise-cancelling headphones, fidget tools, and a Rubik’s Cube, perfect for moments of calm, focus, or a mental reset.
As part of WellWeek 2025, we hosted a CPR demonstration and Q&A session led by our onsite first aiders, showcasing essential life-saving techniques and empowering colleagues with practical emergency response skills.
We were fortunate to have the Vhi Health Check Station onsite for two weeks this year, offering colleagues the opportunity to monitor key health indicators such as body weight, composition, and cardiovascular risk.
During WellWeek 2025, several colleagues from Shannon took part in the JLR Global Racing Simulator Challenge (GRSC), showcasing their skills behind the wheel of the Jaguar I-Type. A huge thank you to everyone who joined in, with two Shannon colleagues placing in the global top 10! We’re already looking forward to the next GRSC.
