Money worries can have a significant impact on your life. They can affect your relationships with those close to you and leave you feeling anxious and stressed. While this doesn’t automatically mean you have a mental health problem, left unchecked, issues can snowball and impact many aspects of your life including your physical and mental health. However, there is lots of support and advice available to you to help you tackle these problems.

And if your finances aren’t causing you any concerns, it’s often a good idea to check and see if you’re making the most of your money. Whatever your position, there’s usually no time like the present for taking a closer look at your finances.
The Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS) offer free, impartial advice with debt and budgeting. Their helpline (0818 07 2000) is available Monday to Friday, 9am - 8pm.
