Giving back is one of the five ways to wellbeing. It creates a sense of connection with others, helping you build your community, it boosts self-esteem, and gives a sense of purpose. It can mean anything from donating to a cause you care about, volunteering your time to a charity, or even just helping out a neighbour.
Many of our colleagues will have the option to do some volunteering in work time every year. There is a dedicated site to learn more about how much time you have available to volunteer, as well as advice and information on ways to get involved and give back to the community.
